Three Peas in a Pod: March 2014

Shooting

For my early Birthday present Dan got me a gun! For most, not that big of a deal, to me SWEET!!!

We had a blast! (No pun intended, lol!)

So, my poor Kim was riding her scooter and took a major fall! And I mean MAJOR! She broke her right arm in three spots! I was inside packing and Shaylee came busting in the house screaming that her sister fell and was screaming outside. You could just hear the sheer panic in her poor little voice. I went flying outside and found her and a bunch of her friends sitting on the sidewalk. A neighbor was nice enough to stay with her until I got there and told me he believed it was just a sprain. I pulled back Kim's long sleeve sweater and her arm was bent in a not so very normal way. Now the sheer panic and heart skipping panic hit me. She was complaining of tingling and numbness in her fingers. Thank goodness for EMT training because it kicked in at that moment. I felt bad but had to find a pulse in her hand if not I was calling 911. There was no way that I could get her to the Emergency room fast enough with no pulse. Thank goodness I found one! I told her friends to meet me by my car with her and again I flew upstairs into my house, got my keys and purse and rushed outside to the car. I'm sure I probably looked like a complete crazy person lol! All turned out well two days later when she got her cast on and it stabilized it a lot better.

We made a trip to Sheels and this was the first time I saw her smile in two days. Definitely made my heart sing seeing her smile again.

Spirit Week at School

Spirit week this year at school was so fun! They had a blast being rivals for Utah Utes and BYU. (GO UTES!!)

They also had 50's day! Kim was Sandra dee (the bad one) and Shay was the goody one. :)

The girls were asleep when Dan and I had decorated so they woke up to Superhero things everywhere, lol!

Winter Palooza 2014

We had the opportunity to go to a fun activity called the Winter Palooza! There were a ton of characters to meet and the girls had a blast seeing them all!

Shaylee's favorite princess! Snow white! She was absolutely adorable and went right up to Shay and started talking to her!

This is Kim's favorite character and she got super shy an refused to take a picture with him. He snuck up behind her and said in a very awesome Batman voice; "What are you doing?" She started giggling and he posed for the camera! So fun!

Kimberlee turns 10!!

Kim was so excited about her Harry Potter birthday party! She had friends from school and her best friend come over. They had potions class, spells, snacks and pictures with Harry Potter himself!
