SANTA!!!

So, my sister in law and I like to walk the mall with our kids to get some of their energy out and for us to window shop! Santa was all set up so we decided to have a quick visit. Kim wasn't in the mood to tell him anything, LOL!, but we litterally had to take Shay off his lap! She just kept going even when we were trying to walk away. She is so silly!!! lol

Getting ready for Christmas!

We are all so excited for Christmas this year! We have the girls for the first time in 3 years!! We decided we were going to have a snow day! We tried making a snowman but the snow was just to dry and wouldn't pack. So, we made snow angels instead! And we decorated our tree!

Kim's Party

Kim decided to have a Hannah Montana Party!!! She had so much fun with family and friends! They played "Rockstar" with a piano, microphone, and a guitar! Then we did a donut game where they had to try to eat the donut off the string while their hands were behind their backs. Then we sang Happy Birthday and presents were opened. She got some really great stuff!! Thanks to all of you!!!! And the last thing was Taylor....lol.... Kim gave all her friends bags to take home and gave her last one to Uncle Taylor who put on the silly glasses!!! :)

Making of Kim's Bday Cake!!

We made a two layer white cake for Kim. She usually does chocolate but one of her cousins doesn't like chocolate so Kim wanted everyone to enjoy it. :) We put Strawberry jam in the middle (Kim's favorite) to spice it up just e bit. We then put white cream cheese frosting over the top.

Kim wanted a hot pink cake with blue letters cause it "matched" Hannah Montana stuff she wanted lol. So we sprayed this hot pink food coloring on. And decorated the rest with Hannah Montana guitars and stars! She loved it!!!!

New Family Photos!!

This was one of my favorites and wanted is as my main picture it just wouldn't let me! lol. Family Photos are somthing I look forward too every year cause we only get to do it literally once a year. Halloween and making lunch!

Sorry we haven't posted for awhile. Our computer decided to bite the dust so I had to borrow my sis in laws computer! :) (Thanks Shell!)


Ok, So here is us for Halloween! THE SWAT TEAM! What you don't see is all of us have SWAT on our backs!

And then Kim decided she wanted to make us all lunch all by herself. She made mac n cheese (with me supervising to minimize accidents and burns.) She did an awesome job and now feels she has to cook or at least help from now on. lol. ;)

HOMEMADE PIZZA!!!

So, The girls and I decided to make homemade pizza. The girls wanted to make their own mini pizzas. It was alot of fun!! And alot of mess to clean up afterwards! lol!

Yet another fishing trip! :)

Of course we went fishing again, lol. This was last weekend. Kim is holding Jeff's fly rod.








Here is Shay holding Jeff's fly rod too. It was chilly so we all had to wear sweaters and coats.











Here is Jeff being crazy. You can't see in the picture but he is literally hovering over the middle of the stream we were fishing in, lol.










It was a really fun trip! I managed to hook two brook trouts and lost two others, lol. What is funny is I pulled out a 9 inch brook and got all excited and was holding it up for Jeff to see and he holds up a fish he caught the exact time I did, lol. Turns out his was a 14 inch brown trout! Bugger! This is another one Jeff pulled out. The fish preferred his hoppers from his fly rod to my worms on the spinning rod. It still was a blast! The girls played in the rocks and sulfur water. Freaked me out at first when they showed me their hands covered in an oil looking base. Jeff had to tell me it wouldn't hurt them. I still made them wash it off in the stream lol.

FUNNY!

So, When Kim gets home from school we make lunch. On the way home I asked her if she wanted some grilled cheese sandwhiches. She got all excited and said SURE! She went quit for a few minutes then said; "Mom? Are there boy cheese sandwhiches?" LOL! LOVE IT!!!

Utah State Fair

The Utah State Fair is a tradition that Jeff and I are trying to keep up with us four. We go every year and let the girls pick one ride each then we always go on the Big Slide! Last year Shay was scared of everything. This year she literally was jumping with excitment! We finished the big slide and she was jumping and yelling. "Let do it again!!!" Kim and Shay of course picked the tilt a whirl. Jeff and I were the dizzy ones at the end of the ride and the girls were all giggly, lol.

The girls were so excited that they got to touch the piglets. We even touched a couple of the sleeping adults!

We ALWAYS make a trip into the DNR exhibit. This is purely for the kid in Jeff lol. This year was the best yet though. They had fur from a bunch of animals you could touch. Kim loved the beaver and Shay loved the black bear. (Which by the way felt like our dog Zoey, lol.) The girls thought this was the funnest thing in that exhibit, lol.

Here are the spawning red salmon! So gorgeous!! They are there every year :)

We got to watch a show with bears!!! This was my favorite! It's hard to see them but there is two bears in the backgrounds. :) They were doing tricks the whole time. One bear slam dunked a basketball. So cute!

And this last one is SHARKS!!! The girls thought they were so cool! You can see two sitting on the bottom but one just wouldn't stay still and was swimming like crazy! It was so much fun! Well we hope you enjoy!

I was quite excited when these were found!!! I have been looking for Shaylee's baby pictures for 2 years now!! This was our little Shaybug when she was born! :)

The girls are so silly! They love to put on the fun sun glasses whenever we go to the party store. SO DANG CUTE!!! :)

Kim's First Day of School

YAY! She had tons of fun! BUT if you look closely at the last picture she was coming out of school all sour faced. I asked her what was wrong and she burst into tears. The teacher was saying Kim did great but was mad at her for the last 15 minutes. I asked Kim again what was wrong and she said; "Mrs. Thacker made me sit by a boy!" She then burst into tears again. LOL!!! SILLY GIRL!!!!

So, we went fishing on Saturday to a park that has a little fish pond. Jeff kept pulling out small blue gills left and right. The girls loved holding all the little fish. And if you know Jeff then you know his humor asked Kim is she had ever seen a flying fish before. She, of course, said no. He threw the little blue gill helplessly across the pond into the water. Kim bust out laughing, loving his joke. LOL!

Well then my fishing pole was sitting on the ground for 2 hours cast out just waiting for my catch. Well Jeff was fly fishing really close to my line. So when the line moved I said; "Jeff I think you caught my line." He said no he didn't. Next thing I know my pole gets tugged int the water. Me never been fishing before jumped in the pond after it. I was so excited I just started reeling in not really knowing how to do it, lol. Luckily my hubby taught me how to PROPERLY reel in a fish lol. And to my surprise got a nice big catfish!!!!
